MySpace cuts two-thirds of international team

MySpace has cut two-thirds of its global workforce, over 300 positions, closing four non-US offices in the process. The announcement follows last month’s decision to cut 30% of its US workforce to 1000, saying its staffing levels were ‘bloated.’ MySpace has a lucrative $300m annual advertising deal with Google expiring at the end of the year.
